“Valentine’s Day: On February 14, couples celebrate Valentine’s Day by exchanging gifts and spending time together”. This is an excerpt from an article published on NDTV website.
There are many such articles like this, it’s not the only one. There is no issue here it’s just that I don’t see things this way.
Valentine’s Day could be YOUR day as well. We see only couples celebrating this day but why is it so? Why can’t we all celebrate the day?
The only reason could be that we all have made certain beliefs in our head and we think and act accordingly. We see couples celebrating this day and hence we have made a belief that it’s only for them.
The problem with everyone is that we don’t question things. We take everything as it is.
A new perspective to any situation can change the entire game. I believe we all should develop a questioning mindset in whatever we do. Ask yourself why are you doing this before you do it.
I am not sure if you will ask a question to yourself, so let me start the game. Let me ask it.
Have you ever gifted yourself anything on Valentine’s Day (or any day for that matter) other than all the hate and negativity?
Have you ever spent time with YOU without comparing yourself for once and say “I love ME”? I love me for who I am and I will achieve my dreams. I know I have weaknesses and I am not perfect.
Well darling, nobody is but we will work upon it.
Try talking to yourself the way you talk with your near and dear ones.
Atlast, Happy Valentines Day to ME, you will be protected always.
