Nightbirde- “Because hope is the bird that sings even when she can’t see the dawn”

This blog is relating to something that I had written and posted about earlier in “Thought #9- It’s okay, if you are lost we all are little lost and it’s alright“. If you haven’t read that post, please do.

Jane Marczewski, I first saw her on America’s Got Talent, last year in July. That’s when I got to know about her but I had my curiosity so I started searching about her: listened to her songs on Spotify and watched all the videos on her YouTube channel. When I didn’t get my answers I searched further and saw most of her interviews that were released in 2021.

I was looking for answers to questions like: how does her mind works, how does she maintain that smile with things going not so favourable, what is her motivation, what is her goal etc. I just wanted to know each and everything about her so I read and watched anything I could find on internet and that’s when I wrote “Thought 9”.

Post that, I did listen to her songs on Spotify, rewatched her Audition on America’s Got Talent many times when I personally felt not so okay. Cut to the chase, today few hours back I saw one video with a title “Nightbirde Marczewski Last Video Before Her Death, Try Not to Cry” and I couldn’t believe what I read. So, I searched all over again and found out that the information was actually correct. . It’s going to be nine months on 19th November since she left and I just came across this information very late. I couldn’t have done anything if I knew earlier as well but just the thought of me presuming that she must be doing good, she would be recovering that she is fine makes me feel bad (in our lives as well, we presume that the other person would be doing fine so we don’t check upon them and thats what I learnt today that sometimes its better to not presume things and ask whether they are doing fine).

The family had live streamed Jane Celebration of Life Memorial Service that was held at Cornerstone Church where she spent a lot of time when she was young. Her family members and close friends shared stories of her and how she had an impact on their lives (you can watch that, it is available on youtube).

One thing I can tell Jane is that she truly was inspirational. She was, She is and She will be, Always and Forever! Thank you to God and people around her for giving her strength and support which made her to come to America’s Got Talent where it all begin. She choosing to sing her orginal song on AGT which today has 49,576,342 million views.

If you are interested to know more about her and her journey please do visit her blog https://www.nightbirde.co/. She has written four blogs and it will provide you with more insight in knowing what she was actually going through. There were few things I wasn’t aware about which she hadn’t spoken about anywhere. Those things came as a shock to me when I read her blog. I don’t want to write about that here because it’s HER JOURNEY which I don’t deserve to tell. So, please do visit her blog to know about her journey, she is an amazing writer as well which you will get to know from her blog.

Here is an official music video of her song “FLY” that will take you to Jane’s memory lane.

Your father was right when he said you have a million-dollar smile, and keeping that smile throughout your journey is even more inspiring.

Thank you for being you, Jane.

Rest in Peace.
