Time to reflect back on the year. Like every year, I feel the year flew at the snap of the finger.

Something new that happened this year:
i) I was SICASA* Managing Commitee Member and also the President of Writers Club . We conducted National Conference in Chennai along with many such events throughout the year. I had taken an intiative to start a book review club wherein we used to read a book for a month and have a review session with the readers at the end of the month. Though because of exams and lack of time we had to take a call to put hold on the book review planned but I pray that the new President will start afresh and students will actually take time out.
ii) Because of the Book Review Club started by me, I was able to read 4 books this year (the count is better compared to the last year)
iii) I had participated in Elocution Competition
iv) I was awarded Spot Award in my firm
v) I got a chance to go for my First Outstation Audit finally in my second year of articleship.
vi) I enrolled myself into a Ukulele Class and I hope to gradually improve and learn.
vii) I visited Auroville and Pondicherry for a day as a part of educational trip and made new friends.
vii) I had my First Peer review experience
Like every year, I try to do things that take me out of my comfort zone and I feel I did that a lot this year. Tried new things, took responsibility, worked more as a team and guided my juniors. But still overall I feel that at an emotional level I haven’t changed much. I am still very sensitive and I let external things affect me easily. I just don’t feel much of a change in me in how I approach things.
Coming back to my 2022 resolution, which was to learn how to do a push up and having a disciplined sleep pattern. I can not so proudly say that I can barely do a pushup and my sleep cycle was a mess due to office and many other reasons for which I take the blame for.
It is wierd and uncomfortable to sit down at the end of the year and reflect on how was your year. Let me know how was yours, in the comment section if you had done the introspection.
Next year is going to be very crucial for me. I have my final professional level exam. So, I am hoping that 2023 would be the year of transformation and massive turning point.
So, cheers to 2022.
And let’s open our arms wide to welcome THE YEAR 2023.
