I have been wondering for past three days as to why when we all have the same 24 hrs to use, why is that some people’s time is valued more than others.
I firmly believe that time is the most precious gift one can offer another.
If you truly want to make someone feel special, dedicate your time to them. Whether it’s through listening to them over a call or being physically present during their moments of joy or sorrow, your time is a meaningful gesture.
Ultimately, time is all we got in this LIFE.
Also, have you ever found yourself feeling impatient while waiting for a message or call from someone who said they’d get back to you ‘in some time’ and you don’t exactly know what is this SOME TIME and when is this SOME TIME. The ambiguity of ‘some time’ can be frustrating. You wait an hour, then another, only to realize you’ve spent the last five hours waiting.
I wish more people understood THE VALUE OF OTHER PEOPLE’s TIME and communicated clearly as to WHAT IS THIS SOME TIME.
Next time when you’re busy or running late, please let the other person know in time the so they can adjust their expectations accordingly and not end up staring at their phone or laptop.
There might be other views about this post, many might say that Jeff Bezos time is more valuable than yours. After all, he earns $142,667 per minute. How does your earning compare? If it’s $0, then that’s the value of your time. A stark reality, isn’t it?
I am unsure how to respond to these arguments at the moment but I will come back to it and mention my reply in the comment section later when I have found the answer.

Update: I’m back! Wishing you all a belated Happy New Year! I know it’s quite late, but I hope you accept my heartfelt wishes.
